Cover of Cat-Tales: Blonde JokesBlonde Jokes

Cat-Tales loves returning to things that happened early in the relationship and presenting a parallel set of circumstances, so we may contrast them and gauge the growth of the characters and their relationship.

Batman first had Catwoman accompany him to the Watchtower in Such an Idiot, where a warning from Eel O'Brian, still stinging from the Protocols episode, helped things were set in motion for the Two-Face/Protocols fight. The episode is also explored from another POV in the Justice League series JLAin't. The return visit now that he wants her help against Joker in Blonde Jokes makes a wonderful counterpoint.

We also glimpse his logs from the night of the encounter at the end of A Girl's Gotta Protect Her Reputation, and the three that follow between that and Normal. They are beyond brief, totally lacking in detail, and he himself reflects on that.

Like all Cat-Tales, Blonde Jokes can be read online on the Cat-Tales website or mobile mirror, and can be downloaded as an ebook or pdf, which is sized for printing at Cafe Press. It is collected in Cat-Tales Book 2.
